About NavsatIn NAVSAT the word "impossible" does not exist. We are location technology experts; this is our passion and what we are all about. Since its foundation in 2006, NAVSAT hase been continuously searching, developing and releasing new GPS technology-based applications and solutions. We know that technology is disruptive and that it is changing the way of living and doing business. HistoryIn 2006, Walter Kissling, Juan Ignacio Biehl and Federico Amador founded NAVSAT with the idea of developing GPS technology applications. The initial challenge was to create a high quality and reliable routable map of Costa Rica to ease the movement of hundreds of thousands of tourists from one Costa Rican destination to another. The initiative was greatly received by the tourist industry. That's how NAVSAT started! ProductsFirst, we developed EzFind: the best Costa Rica’s routable map, available at all major car rental companies in the country. EzFind has been used by more than 100,000 tourists from all around the world. EzFind’s quality has no rivals! Then, it was vehicle tracking's turn. In 2007, we released a cutting-edge vehicle tracking and fleet management system. Considering the needs of our corporate customers, we designed an application that could be used through Internet and that was integrable and open. After three years from its release, EzTrack’s success has been acknowledged by more than 200 companies and thousands of vehicles using it everyday. With the release of NAVIGATOR by NAVSAT, in March 2010, Costa Rica became the second Latin American country with real-time traffic information GPS navigation devices on the market. NAVIGATOR is an innovative and unique system, resulting from years of NAVSAT's hard work. It was conceived with the idea of offering a product designed for Costa Ricans. Due to its features, NAVIGATOR has set a trend not only in Central America, but also in the rest of Latin America. We feel very proud and motivated by the results achieved and which encourage us to endeavor with new projects in the GPS technology field and towards new geographical borders. |
