Walter Kissling
Founder and CEO

Walter Kissling has been involved in financial-related activities for the last 22 years and real estate activities for the last 10 years. As part of Banco Banex, the largest financial group of the time (now owned by HSBC), Mr. Kissling organized, started and managed Banex Valores, the stock broker operation; Cuenta Maestra (universal account), personal internet banking, which was very innovative at the time; and Fiduciaria de Ahorro Banex, the first private money management operation for second and third tier retirement fund. This retirement fund pioneered an industry that today manages more than $1,700 million in assets and covers more than 1 million workers. Mr. Kissling also started a Central American private equity fund. He is also co-founder and part owner of Genesis Investment Group, which is one of Central America’s largest and most successful real estate developers. Moreover, Mr. Walter Kissling is member of different boards of directors and participates in other business activities. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from INCAE Business School.
