EzFind is with no doubt the most reliable map for GPS systems in Costa Rica. A proof of this is the fact that more than 90% of car rental companies currently use our map! In addition to that, thousands of people have also purchased our map.
EzFind covers the entire country, and it has more than 30.000 interest reference points, such as hotels, restaurants, banks, shops, gas stations, shopping malls, touristic places, and much more. Our map is traveler-oriented; it will guide you step by step to your final destination.
Our purpose is to provide you with a quality tool that will not only guide you in any part of the country, but will also optimize the time and the distance of your trip while you move from one place to another, making your trip safe and pleasant!
Only Garmin devices are compatible with EzFind. Any of the Nuvi devices (new or old) are compatible with EzFind. Other Garmin models are also compatible but only if they come with SD card slots. Non-compatible devices include TomTom, Magellan, and NavTeq.
None of the built-in, factory-installed GPS devices is compatible with EzFind. The only compatible factory-installed device is the Kenwood device with SD card slot. The map needs the Garmin platform in order to work.
We have three different map versions:
- EzFind full version $119 taxes included (with 1 year of free updates)
- EzFind 10-day version $59 taxes included.
- EzFind 30-day version $89 taxes included.
$49 per year taxes included. There are between 2 to 4 updates a year.
- Nuvi 205 with EzFind full version: $399 (taxes included), plus $9 shipping. This option comes with one year of free updates and 1 year warranty.
- Streetpilot c320 (used, but in good condition) with EzFind: $189, plus $9 shipping. This option comes with one year of free updates and 1 month warranty.

Yes, you can. You can get it only at Satec in Centro Comercial de Guadalupe (Guadalupe shopping center) and in our online store at Ebay.
Please follow the registration process below:
- In our website www.navsatcr.com, go to “Register Your GPS.”
- Fill out the form with the information requested.
- Once the information has been saved, you will receive an e-mail every time a new update is released.
- When there is an update available, you just need to enter your NAVSAT ID in the “Update your GPS” option of our website.
Update Process
Updates are sent by internet and e-mail. Map updates are free during the first year. Every annual renewal costs $49 (optional). The map will continue working regardless of whether you pay the annual renewal or not.
On your GPS, go to Tools>Settings>System>About
A NAVSAT ID is your device identification number in our system (the number under which your device is registered in our system). It is similar to a person´s ID number. It is used to register a device in the website and to ask for updates.
